I know that it really doesnt mean anything, doesnt help in fighting this war. Yet, as a former President one would have assumed he would say something, This question is being spread in many publications with all sorts of speculation as to motive.

I do not know the reason but Obama did not like Israel. When they were fighting Hamas last time Obama refused to give them some sort of ammo that the US had stashed in Israel. Israel took it anyway.

Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005. I don’t support settlements, but if you attack a country and that country wins, do you not get what you won? It should Poland be speaking Russian now?

Pulling out of Gaza is such a small concession compared to what is needed to even give those people something that resembles a chance at a decent chance at life.

First no, not everything even much of the "public" response has a damn thing to do with Jew hate. The media has been 100% behind Israel, I've yet to see a single politician even suggest that Israel has done ANYTHING wrong ever in history.

Being a Jew is an extreme sport and one that doesn't get nearly enough press and now that we have social media, youtube and tons of other things some of this falls on why the fuck aren't they louder. I've just recently been seeing commercials about it. In the US it goes Jew, Black, I believe Muslim but I didn't check the 2022 FBI stats today and then white.

These two issues must be treated separately. I don't have any problem with Jews, if there was a local rally and I had the time I would go and stand. Though as bad as things were getting early under Trump you'd think that they would be stepping up in solidarity. The same people who terrorize the Jews are the people attacking the LGBT community. These are the same exact people who justify every police shooting of a black man.

You really have no clue what you are talking about. It is Hamas, not Israel which has sworn to destroy the other. Israel had Gaza and gave it back in land for peace. See how that worked out. It is the Palestinians who say they want the land between the river and the sea.

And it's not genocide. Calling it that is utterly ridiculous and inaccurate. What must happened is terrorism plain and simple and Israel is absolutely right to declare war on Hamas. And Palestinian caught with a gun should be treated as an enemy combatant.

If Israel wanted to occupy Gaza and give the people a reason to stay there and not hate them, why didn't they build infrastructure, and stoke an economy that gave people jobs and productive lives? Hamas has no actual power to destroy Israel so who give a shit what they have said? If Israel never gives good deals so the people see HAMAS as someone who shouldn't be in charge and someone more moderate should be.

Calling it anything but genocide is a flat out lie. It is an attempt at genocide. Whether or not declaring war is the correct course of action which is really isn't doesn't change the fact that it is their right. This isn't going to be about people caught with guns, this is going to be missles, rockets and tanks that don't discriminate.
