What’s your most controversial opinion?

Yea...not even close.

Yesterday my daughter had a bad day at school. A test she had didn't go well. Then...heaven forbid...as she was walking to the car after school...she lost an ear bud. So she looked in her backpack. She looked in her pockets. She even traced her steps. Nothing. So she sat there...tears running down her face. Took her to get Subway...that usually works. Nope. So I swung by Verizon and picked up a new set. Half off...cause I am a special customer. So $18. Then she started crying cause she felt stupid...and then she cried cause she was happy...and then she cried cause she was crying. Yes...it is her period and she didn't have one last month.

So...no Amy...not even close
But, look at how dramatic you are with this...😁🤪

Controversial opinion?
Men. And I cannot stress this enough...all men... are waaaaaay more dramatic than women.
Fight me.
Agree. I have two daughters, and a son. He's WAAAAAY more emotional than both my girls combined. His teen angst makes them look stoic by comparison

I think, it's because, and yes this is gonna hurt a little...
Some of us have been trained to sit down, shut up, be quiet, don't draw attention to yourself, chin up, press on, get over it, suck it up, and never ever ever let them see you cry.
Thanks, mom.
Suck it up? I can relate to that. Oh wait, I see you meant something else. Never mind. :D

I used to feel so inferior to some of my Christian school peers because they never showed anger, never said anything bad, seemed humble and perfect in every way. Nah, they just bottled things up better than I did.
I was raised very religious, but not to repress my emotions at all. I was always disconcerted that I saw my peers shocked when I would communicate my feelings or needs. One of my parents is a psychologist and I credit them with the balance. I like to remind people that even Jesus lost his temper in the temple and turned over the tables of the money changers. If even he can get angry, it's not a sin if you are!

In a series I read (Crosstime Engineer) When the main character built a church for his village he had that scene as one of his stained glass windows: "My vision of Jesus is he is not a wimp"

Dawgs got a smashmouth game to play herein a minute or two.
Not that they shouldn't win...but any team that underestimates Kentucky could be surprised. More balanced than many "high-scoring" offensive teams
