RJ… I appreciate the support you have given me. I enjoy the attention… but not when there is no integrity. When @hotoldrguy posts a song, he knows it… he loves it, that is why he posted It. The same is true for me. Neither of us go to a list, or an on line search… that is our honest opinion. We only ask, you show us the same reapect.

I do not know, who thinks Jack White is ”good”… but it sure is not me, and likely would not be you either, if you listened to his rubbish.

I have thought more about this… and the answer is hell no!

In college, I majored in “brat”, with a minor in “bitch”… or the other way around… I speak my opinion, but do not think “I’m right’ all the time. If you disagree, I truly respect that. And would enjoy hearing your “evidence”… (in this case, music).

Several years back, a few of my colleagues were all excited about how amazing Prince was, based on a performance he did of “My Guitar Gently Weeps”… I watched the youTube they loved, and frankly lost respect for Prince. To me, he did every lamé cliche ever to look “cool”… as a guitar player, I thought everything he played seemed old, tired, amd immensely uninteresting. Where they wrong? No. Was I wrong? No. We all perceive the world differently.

But anyone thinking Jack White has talent is an idiot.
I am totally kidding here… they are clearly just uneducated. (That too, was a joke)

I follow Kate Dunton on Instagram, she's now teaching at a university, but she'd much rather be performing at concerts and jazz clubs. So, like you, she's turned to other avenues to pay her bills.

When I lived in northern Nevada, I became close friends with a musician who had been making his living there for decades. When I moved to Las Vegas, I no longer had any musical connections and would have to start over. Frankly, at my age, I did not (and do not) have the energy. And besides, the 300+ songs I know how to play are all quite old now. My time, has passed.

I decided to interpret their total rude “holier than thou “ attitude to… well, I don’t know, I just decided to not hold it against them. On the other end of the Spectrum, Steve Perry was super nice to me. A kindness I have never forgotten.

Wow! That is interesting, but not my personal experience….. but not being a celebrity, who is to say what is a “good day” or a “bad day”? Maybe Steve just got laid when I met him? Maybe Dusty and Billy had not slept in a day?

Well… ZZ Top were obviously some head cases. 3 guys in the band and they wouldn’t ride together on a tour bus. They all rode separately in their own bus.

And I actually heard the radio interview with Journey on with Howard Stern. Perry might have been drinking? He was kind’ve insufferable. But he only aimed in at Stern, which … fair game in my book.
