Hi again

No, I have to admit it’s not, at least for now, and for several reasons. First of all, it’s still a work in progress. Second, it’s not linear. Third, I don’t think it would fit into the Illustrated section on here on Lit. My work is by nature very visual. In the illustrated section the stories are backed up by images, for my story it would be the other way around, and I don’t think that would make a very good experience for anyone.

I was kind of hoping to publish the story right here, in this thread, in a very compressed form with a little text giving some context to the images I post. It would be like an ongoing series with a new episode, like the one I posted yesterday, issued in each week.

I’ve also recorded some “behind the scene’s” videos showing how I make and work with the images in Daz Studio. With your approval, I’m also considering adding some of those to this thread as well. Perhaps people here on the board would appreciate an inside view into how these images are created.

I realize that this post is a bit out of the ordinary for this board, and if you think it’s not for Lit I’ll stop of course. I do not wish to step on anyone’s toes 😊

You can post the images here and the behind the scenes images and details. You can post some of the backstory.

Lit rules don't allow posting stories to the forums, or teasers to stories elsewhere. You should be able to add your Patreon link to your signature and profile, but not make a point of directing people to it.

Sort of a fine line, but I think people will be interested in the artwork.

I hinted that I would share a little video with you showing at least a bit of the process involved in making the images I use in the novel Special Request. Those of you working with Daz Studio already know it's painstaking work. What you are about to see is the work that went into making this render:

We are way into the story by now, so this one is completely out of order from the other images I will be posting. These will be in the correct order as the story develops! In this one Laura is giving a seminar at her old place of work.

Before what you are about to see in this video came setting up the environment. You have to remember that everything is created and worked with in 3D, so the room has to be furnished, people positioned, makeup applied, clothes picked out, hair chosen etc., etc., etc. Even before that Laura, the main character, had to be created just the way I wanted her to be. That took the better part of a year also.

Once the scene is set up the way I like it, lighting will be applied and cameras positioned - just like in a real photo studio. This is an art in it self and way to broad a subject to touch in this posting. Once that is done the scene is rendered into a 2D image, and then it's off to post work in Photoshop - again a topic for an other day :)

First of all - thank you to those who left me kind replies in the thread, and all the rest of you who just dropped in for a quick look as well :)

Now I bring you a few more images from Lauras life as she struggles to unlock the truth behind her blackmail. Things are heating up, and soon the scenes will become a lot more explicit :cool:

I'm in a good mood this morning, so today will be a double feature :)

First I want to share something completely different with you. This is from my side project to Special Request, a series of short stories called Tales From Afar. It's set in a distant and highly dysfunctional Steam Punk universe.

It's rather late where I am right now, but that does not mean you won't get a little dose of Special Request today anyway.

As this is an interactive story the plot can develop in several directions. This is one of those. I will leave you guessing as to what brought Laura in this particular situation :cool:

Not at all - I just had a few things to take care of yesterday, and therefor today will also be a double feature!

Starting out with Special Request, where Laura seems to have a knack for getting herself into some rather sticky situations.
