A one-hit wonder, but a pretty decent song to be remembered for. I think I had this on one of those K-Tel albums, one of those records they'd cram 20+ songs on. I didn't realize until later that K-Tel would cut the songs down to make them all fit, but I was a stupid kid back then and didn't know any better.

I normally don't post cover tunes - especially ones that weren't the super popular versions. And rarely am I impressed with something recorded in the digital/computer/auto correct pitch/fake it music era (this is from 2004). But this woman can really sing. She doesn't need computers to be in tune.

Dana Owens is so amazing, and this whole album is excellent. I don't know what prompted me to buy it when it came out, but I love the album and this version of this song is amazing. Enough blathering...
