A 98 year old Nazi prison camp guard will go on trial for being an "accessory to murder" (3300 counts). The soldier was a 16 year old camp guard assigned to the childrens' barracks at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

Because of his age at the time the crimes were committed (15 to 17), the 98 year old will be tried in juvenile court.

I hope he gets the firing squad.

This one was a kid, 80 years ago.

Show me he signed orders or directly pushed people into the ovens and I'll agree.

They have evidence...else he wouldn't have been chased all these years. I don't give a fuck he was a kid. I don't give a fuck it was 80 years ago.

I have to agree. A 16 yr old conscript being investigated when he's 98 yrs old. Taxpayers money can be better spent elsewhere.

As an aside, Sachsenhausen camp was where the 'Great Escapees' were sent after recapture (the ones who weren't executed) and punished by being fed amphet and being marched around in circles until they dropped.

He was a kid and he's evaded capture for decades. Just do some interviews see if you can squeeze a book out of him and make like a Disney Princess and let it go.
