A Jan. 6 defendant scheduled to be sentenced on Friday is now missing

WASHINGTON — Christopher Worrell, a Florida Proud Boy convicted on seven counts stemming from his actions during the Jan. 6 riot, was scheduled to be sentenced today in Washington, D.C, federal court but is now missing, according to a spokeswoman from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

“The evidence shows that he then furthered that goal, by both joining the mob and then by spraying the officers,” Lamberth continued, referring to Worrell’s use of a “pepper gel” spray against police during the riot.

Prosecutors are seeking a 14-year prison sentence for Worrell, citing his refusal to take responsibility, his lack of remorse and lies that he told while under oath.

LOL! 🤣🤣🤣

this one's representing himself:

A Jan. 6 defendant, in opening arguments at his trial before a jury on Wednesday, compared himself to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and said that he liked that members of Congress were fearing for their lives during the Capitol attack.
“I truly do like the fact that those senators and congressman were in fear for their lives,” Fellows told jurors

Fellows had been held in pretrial custody since mid-2021. He was detained because while he was on pretrial release in his Jan. 6 case, he called the mother of his probation officer and also reportedly harassed a former girlfriend, in violation of a state protection order. In recent court filings, he called U.S. District Court Judge Trevor McFadden corrupt and biased.
Fellows told jurors that he believes Jan. 6 "was a beautiful day." He said he’s on the autism spectrum and had been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome as well as attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

man arrested after USA's investigation into 'shiny' hand tattoo man

"it wasn't me"
“I would never hurt an officer. I come from a military background, I'm very respectful of our military and police,” Tate said.
stupid AND a liar
Tate can be seen in videos swinging the baton and charging toward police officers, prosecutors claim. He can also be seen repeatedly striking one officer’s helmet with the baton, the complaint states.
Tate was also seen in videos throwing a black speaker box and a table leg with a screw protruding from it through a window of the Capitol building, prosecutors allege.

In March, photographs of Tate could be seen on the FBI’s website listing suspects wanted in connection with the insurrection. He told USA TODAY he didn’t know why his photograph was on the site.

“If I’m on that list for the rest of my life, I guess I'll be there,” Tate said. “But I never did it. So I'm not going to live the rest of my life in fear.”
Tate was identified to prosecutors by a “tipster,” according to the complaint, who provided investigators with social media videos posted by Tate and others. In those and other videos, Tate can be seen boasting about his actions and screaming at other protesters to attack the Capitol, the complaint states.

jan 6th defendant on bail told judge he had fed-ex job requiring him to cross state lines.. he didn't

During his initial appearance in federal court in Knoxville, Tenn. on Aug. 25, Beals told Magistrate Judge Jill E. McCook via a video link from the Hamilton County Detention Center in Chattanooga that he is driving a FedEx delivery route in northern Georgia. She set his conditions of release to allow him to travel between the two states while awaiting trial.

A spokesperson for FedEx told Raw Story that Beals was under evaluation by an independent contractor that provides ground delivery services for FedEx in the Chattanooga, Tenn. area, but that he ultimately was not hired and has no association with FedEx.

“He never provided services for FedEx and won’t be in the future,” a FedEx corporate official, who requested his name not be published to speak candidly, told Raw Story on Monday afternoon. “That independent contractor cut ties with him.”

anyone think he might be going inside?

i'm unimpressed by his 'show' of conviction... smacks more of 'ain't got nowhere else to be or anywhere that'll have me... at least i'm getting 3 meals and a roof and showers...'
Jan. 6 defendant who represented himself in court after being accused of smoking marijuana in a senator’s office during the Capitol attack was held in criminal contempt on Tuesday, with the judge overseeing his trial smacking him with a five-month jail sentence before jury deliberations in the case were even set to begin. Brandon Fellows, 29, has been in custody since June 2021 on a federal felony charge of obstruction of an official proceeding and aiding and abetting, as well as a number of other misdemeanors. As his trial, which began last week, wrapped up on Tuesday, Fellows took the stand.
He also insisted that the rioters “had the right to overthrow” the government on Jan. 6.
Later, as U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden explained to Fellows that he had forfeited his right to a rebuttal, Fellows replied, “I would expect nothing less from a kangaroo court,” according to NBC News. His contempt sentence was first reported by a Politico journalist. The jury is expected to begin deliberating on Fellows’ charges on Wednesday morning.

It’s already a good day!!

So if you communicated or offered comfort to one found guilty of sedition, dies that disqualify you ?

Trump took an oath! He will soon claim he never did ! “Prove it”
If he did.., then, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

Aid and or comfort ?? Hmmm?!!
To a now convicted seditionist. X

in an interview with alex jones, live on skype, biggs says he knows trump will pardon him and prison food is inedible. wait, what? they allow live skype prison interviews for tv? is that a thing? not sure where that kind of privilege fits in but that's just me.

Proud Boys leader Joseph Biggs has said he believes "with all my heart" that Donald Trump will pardon him in an online interview in which he also complained about the food in prison.

"They don't want you to go out and vote, they want people scared before it's time to vote and that's why all this heat's happening right now. You know, this is ridiculous. We went there that day with no plan, with nothing. We were there like every other American but it's because we're a political group."

He later added: "The food (in prison) is horrible. You can't eat the food here. It is not edible in any kind of way."

When asked by Jones whether he expected Trump to pardon him, Biggs said: "Oh, I know he'll pardon. I believe that with all my heart."
oh well, i'm hoping he has a lot of time to get used to the food.
