Early on, I thought he had a decent shot at the nomination. In hindsight, I can’t think of anyone that has or ever had a chance. With just over a year to go, national polls have Biden and Trump tied. Doubt anyone could have predicted that a year ago. Maybe a Senate run or a 2028 presidential run is his next move.

That would be a smarter move. If his popularity had exploded right before the election he may have had an Obama moment, but he peaked too soon. His skeletons haven’t all been aired and we don’t know how he handles real pressure. Trump soldiers on and fights back. We know the good, the bad and the made up about him.

I can’t predict anything with accuracy. Maybe another 3rd party will come in and win it? I won’t stress about it since there is a sea of China, N. Korea, Russia, homelessness and drug use right now that needs attention.
