Finding remembered stories from the past

I recall certain erotic stories I read years ago, some of which conform to the requirements of this site. If I post the details I remember, might others be able to suggest a title or titles? I finally joined the site recently (rather than just reading anonymously) for the sole purpose of finding these stories.

For instance, I recall a (Romance? BDSM?) story about a young woman undergoing an "auction evening" after having been educated by a secret society (like Skull and Bones, but for young women). All is consensual. She is a pet of the Mistress of the society, and ponders a few offers, eventually settling on a contract with a powerful, rich man. After taking up residence in one of his mansions, she discovers he is more exacting than she supposed or is used to, so she acts out. Each are somewhat puzzled by the other's behavior, as well as by their own (unexpected) intense response to it. He ends up being ticked off enough to leave on an extended business jaunt just as she realizes her true affection for him. The remainder of the work is her feelings and attempts to show her appreciation of him without wholly giving up her own power. It was quite affecting, and I'd love to read it again, but cannot recall the title or author.

Can anyone help me? Or is this a topic that belongs elsewhere?

Well, that's at least a different set than I've tried before. (Turns out when pressed to describe it that I'd recalled more than I thought.) Unfortunately, none of the 34 is the right one. But thanks, Altissimus!

UPDATE: Found it! This is "His Daddy's Car" by Bobby Brandt. This is the first in a whole series of stories, all connected by the same car, a Corvair. [1 down, 4 to go!]

Another example is a (Romance? Novella?) story of two teens in love, but the girl is inexplicably gone one day, and the boy has to continue his life without her. As I recall, he was a major car enthusiast (probably a Mustang, given its ubiquity on this site), and allowed no one but his girl ride in the passenger seat. From her disappearance forward, all passengers must sit in the back. There was something to do with a personalized license plate as well as a keychain. It turns out the girl's family had to relocate due to her father blowing the whistle on some mob deal. They do end up together, the girl having noted the plate on an otherwise-draped car curbside. There ends up being some action with US Marshalls or WITSEC or someone; nothing serious, but enough to explain why the girl's family lives on a gated and defended compound (which just happens to be located coincidentally one house down from relatives of the boy's family).
