Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

Here, they blend them together under Daylight Again, so that may be why you don't recognize it as a separate piece.

This is how it’s presented on the CSN&Y Box Set. They also do Find the Cost of Freedom as a separate song on that set. I do believe that was a Buffalo Springfield song that migrated to the CSN&Y canon but I’ll have to check my facts on that when I get back home.

KC & The Sunshine Band - Get Down Tonight

(this appears to be a disco mix, it's quite a bit longer than the original version. Sorry about that)

The Spinners - The Rubberband Man

wow... this one is long too... I seem to be finding the dance mixes this morning... that isn't on purpose... although a morning dance is pretty good... 🤣

Aretha Franklin - The House That Jack Built

This song reached number 6 in the US top 40 and number 2 on the R&B charts... and I really dig it. 😊 😊 😊

Wilson Pickett - 634-5789

I'm super tempted to follow this with Tommy Tutone... one phone number deserves another... but I don't want to ruin the cool vibe I'm hearing this morning...

Sam Cooke - Bring It On Home To Me

When I played in bands around Reno/Carson City/Lake Tahoe I think all the cover bands I played with did this song. And usually with a chord change that isn't even in this version. 😊

Smokey Robinson - You've Really Got A Hold On Me

I'm pretty sure this is the original version, and Smokey wrote it.
