Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

Me too. And Thunderball... That movie has such a cool feel to it… one of my favorite Bond movies. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Oh yeah… Claudine Auger gets tied up with pantyhose in that movie too… might have influenced my appreciation for it… the threats of cigarette burns was a total turn off though. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

that movie also inspired me to get certified in SCUBA and start diving

You made a shocking mess out of my hair, you sadistic brute.

One of my favorite movie lines. 😊😊😊😊

James Bond! The movie made in 1973! Live and Let Die! Personally, my favorite Bond film as a life long Bond fan. Well, up until Casino Royale which I hated so much, I have never watched another new Bond film (and never will).
Did you watch the original Casino Royale with Connery or the other stupid one

well, I have seen the Daniel Craig and the David Niven versions, I honestly didn’t care for either. But it was the Daniel Craig movie that told me the James Bond franchise wasn’t for me anymore.

And I like Daniel Craig, it was what they did in the movie that I hated, not him or his performance at all.

I liked the Connery one. I thought the Niven one was stupid. I like Craig as James Bond but I did not like how they did Casino Royale either

For me, there is never ever any time I am okay with a torture scene, one of the Brosnan movies had one and I hated that too. But Casino Royale went way over the line.

I don’t know of any version of Casino Royale with Connery though…

I do like Never Say Never Again (Thunderball remake by a different production company), Bernie Casey was awesome as Felix Leiter, Barbara Carrera was totally hot as the badie, and a young Kim Basinger, lovely as ever. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Casino Royale (1967) Starring Sean Connery - Meeting Le Chiffre/Vesper’s Kidnapping

I read the book first and the ball torture scene was straight from Ian Fleming

That is some clever editing… scenes from Dr No, Goldfinger and Thunderball edited in with scenes from the 1967 Casino Royale. 😊😊😊😊
