So what’s the problem? I read the article and it sounds like the school is fine with American flags but not fine with large, view-obstructions that are distracting on cars for safety reasons. If he painted his whole truck as an American flag, that would be fine.

A 12-year-old boy's free-speech rights to say "there are only two genders" on a T shirt is trumped by classmates' rights to feel "secure," a judge has ruled.
Who wont feel secure and why?
Liam Morrison, 12, was sent home from Nichols Middle School in Middleborough, Massachusetts, was sent home for wearing the "two genders" shirt and again for wearing an altered shirt saying “There are only censored genders.”
The family has appealed.

Why is it every couple of years, probably more often because I don't go looking for this trash we find out about a kid who is trying to be a jack ass.

As long as it was under controlled circumstances, but I didn't say that flag should be burned. I mean most people don't know or care about the flag laws but you're not supposed to throw them away. You are supposed to burn it. There is a whole ceremony but I don't even know where the nearest Boy Scout troop is.

I don't mind it in protests other than protests are rarely controlled circumstances. If you've been trying to go through official channels on this or that for years and years its time to switch tactics. I think if the way these near ban in some states on abortion that's probably gonna be something we should alll keep an eye on.
