You can opt out of any education at any time if you decide to homeschool your kids. Then you can teach them whatever you want. But if you want free daycare and someone else to teach your kids, I guess the price you must pay is that they might learn about people who are different from themselves that exist in the world. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If they feel so strongly that their kid cannot learn about gay or transgender people, yeah. They can home school them or pay to put them into a private school that is more in line with their values.

Just as @RobDownSouth says, they have the choice.
