Vanessa 2

The other day I found several remote discs I used to store and backup photos over the years........haven't looked at them for yonks. So, I thought to myself, maybe a lot of people haven't seen these archive pics or, if they had, may not remember them. So, in the interest of keeping things moving, I'll select some that I think will be of interest and load them up from time to time.

It's a bit of fun for us too......like 'doing it all again'.

The pics below are straight out of the camera; I haven't edited these at all. They're originals....and all were stored on these discs. Hope you like them.....and the idea.

I should ad that this was very early in our photographic hobby, we were still learning the ropes, seeing what worked and what didn't, learning to use the cameras and make the best use of whatever was at hand. Of course, it helped [me] having the best subject to photograph.

I am pretty sure these have been up before. Thank you for their return.😍

Much appreciated, Heath.

Many thanks Hulmule ... I do hope I can repeat the no tan line in our upcoming summer.

🙏

Hehe ... that's lovely Neatnik.

It's a 2015 Holden Ute, Jox ... not made anymore, unfortunately.

Many thanks, CV.

You're very welcome HB .. pleased you enjoyed the repeat.

That's good to know, Gn. x

Thanks so much, jc.

Hi Steve .. no need to apologise for such a charming comment .. thanks very much from both of us.

They are an unusual cut, I agree CV .. not very comfortable to wear, but great for photos. Glad you enjoyed the results.

You're very welcome Binns, and I'm flattered you liked the more recent shot so much.

And your lovely feedback is always appreciated by us, Crewdog. 🙏

xx

A pleasure LLP ... many thanks for your comment.

That's a lovely comment Kent, thank you.

That made me smile, Kent .. thanks again!

Glad it comes across that way, GOP .. and thank you. I can't say I feel quite as sprightly as I did back then, but I can't complain.

:) .... pleased you liked it, Amiche.

Haha ... I like that equation Waratah!
Mmm 😋

Many thanks everyone for your acknowledgments and positive feedback re the past few sets of pics: one, I wasn't too sure how the everyday/travelling type stuff would be received given this an

'erotic' site but the response has been great and will think of other ways to mix things up. Secondly, the pics from the archives, we're convinced they will continue to be of interest .;)

I have been looking online and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a Holden? When I was able to drag my eyes away from the gorgeous Vanessa, I noticed the twin tail pipes, does this mean it’s got one of Holden’s wonderful V8’s under the bonnet/hood? Sorry to be a bit of a bor but your wonderful pictures have awakened two of my great loves in this world. First and most importantly, the Lovely Vanessa and secondly nice cars. So it’s your fault okay.

No problem at all Binns, very happy to chat about cars, the ute is a 2015 Holden Ute SV6 3.5L (V6) 210 Kw power 350Nm torque. We've had this since around Nov 2022, has around 140,000 on the dial but is still as tight and smooth as day it rolled off the line. The V8 .....such as the SS can come in a 6.2 litre V8. Sadly, Holden is no more in Oz; manufacturing stopped in 2017. It has been an icon like koalas and kangaroos.

So we are the owners of it, the Mustang (2017 5L V8) and an old Rolls Silver Spirit 1981 6.7L V8 which we bought a few years ago, one owner. About 100,000km on the clock.....probably just run in now. Cost, when we bought it, about the same as a Toyota Corolla.....and a base model at that!

Thank you Richard for your reply, sounds like you have got yourself some real keepers there. I’m sure the V6 Ute is more than capable of putting a smile on your face. Back in the 80’s I had a GM with a 2.9 V6 , tuned for economy rather than performance, but still ran well and oh so smooth and a very nice sound. Not quite as good as a V8 but still nice , I would imagine the Holden with twin pipes sounds pretty good.
Holden were part of the GM group so I’m guessing feel victim to the sell off that included Vauxhall and Opel over here in Europe. Such a shame to see a real iconic brand disappear, sign of the times I’m afraid, and the rule of the almighty dollar.
You’re response also answered another question, in picture 3, having spent some considerable time mesmerised by Vanessa’s wonderful derrière, I realised that Vanessa was standing in front of a Rolls Royce tail light, Mystery solved. I guess the Porsche has gone ? Still it was grey and not white, as such the odd one out.
Thanks again Richard for sharing.
