Believe me, not being able to publish (I use the term extremely loosely, as one would have to when doubled up with laughter) on Lit. is scarcely the end of the world. Lots of people here don't bother.

It it legal under US law to eat pig. It is not legal under US law to boink a pig.

There are countries where it may not be legal to eat pig. Or cows. There may be countries where it is legal to eat dog, cat or horse. It is not in the US.

The site doesn't want legal trouble, I'm okay with that. But if we are debating about morality, then the appeal to the law is out of place.

Fantasy creatures that appear in the approximate form of animals are not governed by laws, since they do not exist.

All fictional characters do not obey the law (except copyright law) because they do not exist. Otherwise, all noncon stories would have to be removed from the site.

I am, however, disgusted by the folks who continue to post threads and comments attempting to debate for stories containing understandably prohibited topics. I’m sure you can find bestiality elsewhere on the Internet if you really want to read it. Thankfully it’s prohibited here. The threads and individuals arguing for content like this (and underage content) are simply disturbing.

Nobody take any notice. People like this, if given their head, would ban every thread. He/she/it would doubtless find sex outside marriage, infidelity or intimacy between different ethnic groups "simply disturbing", once the bit gets between the teeth.
