1. Have you ever met a lit-ster? Obviously not as I just joined
If you did, how did it go? /
If you havent, would you? /
2. Guys, if you send a PM to a woman, are you really expecting a reply or is it "no biggie" if she doesn't send you a reply? How do you feel? If she doesn't reply, I guess she doesn't want to or hasn't seen the PM. It is no "no biggie". There always is a reason if she doesn't.
3. This probably happens with both sexes, but since I generally chat with guys, my question would be: why do guys lie when they chat online? I'm not sure what kind of lie they would tell but if they do, most of the time it can be to invent a life they don't have, appear more interesting despite being boring in real life.
4. How has your experience on lit been? if you have any particular experience you'd like to share, please do so. Inexperienced, yet to be changed.
5. Since I'm from South East Asia, have you been to this region? I have already been to Singapore many times. I have relatives living there and I visited Thailand some years ago.
Yes? Please share where you've been and what you liked/disliked about it. I loved the food, the warm welcoming people, the living atmosphere, the never sleeping cities...

I can't list them all here though. Hoping for worthy encounters now that I joined the forum and many lit-sters.

You already know some about me, I'm an Australian guy, soon turning 35(in september), my zodiac is Libra, I'm 6.10ft tall, pretty fit and single. I like to talk about anything that is engaging, leads to open your mind, and be thoughtful like the current world's issues, politics, literature, or new technologies.

I haven’t, it’s hard enough getting people to chat more than every now and then.

i always hope for a reply, otherwise it would be pointless sending a message in the first place. I used to be happy just getting a thanks but no thanks reply but I soon realised the women get so many messages that most just get passed straight by

i think a lot lie (both sexes) about things to try and give them the edge on the competition, but I’d rather be myself and fail for that than have to try and remember the lies I’ve told

it’s been good in general, I’ve been on here for years now but have had long spells away. Sometimes I just come for stories, sometimes to look through the forums

I haven’t, I’ve often considered Thailand or the Philippines for the snorkelling, I tend to visit the Maldives a lot which is the nearest as a holiday, and have passed through Bangkok and Singapore airports a couple of times

I’d quite like to visit some of the smaller islands that have good snorkelling from the beach as that’s the sort of holidays I currently have in the Maldives

Probably the times when someone has chatted and it’s lasted a while so you get a smile when you see you have received a message from them

I’m 50, I still play football a few nights a week and spend most of the year saving for my holidays, I like films and all the usual stuff. I’d be happy chatting about anything and everything, as long as it’s not all one sided and feels forced as that’s where the chats soon start to end

I HAVE met a lit-stress in person, and our communication still continues a couple of years later. It’s developed into a wide-ranging friendship. I have been to her home, went camping with her family, etc.
I have been to Phuket, Thailand, SouthWest Asia, not SouthEast. The turquoise water was beautiful! I got in a fight with a monkey over my cowboy hat, a prostitute at an open l-air bar (same one with the angry monkey) taught me to play the checkers game, connect four.
I have sent PM’s to women here. Of course I prefer that they respond, but I don’t control that and I’m not looking to control them. So I’m excited when they do respond and not offended when they do not.
I do not lie when I chat online. I may avoid questions, change topics, or offer vague answers, but I do not lie.
I’m 50 and in a long-term lonely marriage that’s been lonely for a long time. I’ve traveled and thought about my travels, and read and I think about what I read. I love to write, and sometimes I write stories that I WISH were real and haven’t been yet. I especially enjoy writing with a Lady who enjoys writing herself and enjoys the story. I’ve experienced that ONCE, and it was EXCEPTIONAL! I work hard at self-development and I love conversations on a wide range of topics.
My best Lit experience has been the friend I’ve made that started on this site. Unexpectedly things aligned and I had a 6 month assignment within about 20 miles of her town! By far, my best Lit experience.

I like that everything is in the one place, the island I go to take around 20 minutes to walk round, I like to snorkel whilst there which I can do straight from the beach. I’ve been 14 times so far, 10 times to one island, two to another, and then another two once. I’m going to the one I’ve been to 10 times twice this year. If you like a relaxing holiday then the Maldives is perfect, if you want to explore then you’d soon get bored I think. Where do you like to go when you go away?

I’m in England, so it’s not cheap, but if you look in the right places then it can be cheaper, the biggest issue I have is I’m single so being a solo traveller also adds cost to going there

Yeah I see you’re in the states so it is a lot longer to travel for you which is a shame, I’d love to go to Bora Bora but that’s too expensive and probably a cheaper option for you

Ha ha, bugger, the sooner they invent teleportation the betterIt's not.
It really depends, sometimes I like to just be visiting and chilling, sometimes I like to explore... so that all contributes to where I'd go. I do enjoy snorkeling, thats always been fun.
Am currently looking at cruises - it'll be my first time, possibly looking at early next year due to available dates at more reasonable prices.

I know people that live the cruises, they’ve never appealed to me though as you don’t get long enough on each island, plus I get sea sick
if you love snorkelling though then the Maldives is great, I’ve done loads of photos and videos from my trips there and they always get great feedback on the various Maldives forums on Facebook so I created a YouTube channel for them 🏝 a few different Maldives groups on facebook did competitions to have a photo as the groups cover photos and I won on both groups with different photos
