Stories where men reinvent themselves

Does anyone have stories where a husband's wife cheats on him, causing him heartbreak, but eventually the man decides to make positive changes in his life like going to the gym and improving himself? When the wife notices, she wants to reconnect but the man sticks to his principles and says no.

I'm not looking for BTB where the husband "makes the wife and lover pay" by doing something but instead, the husband accepts what happened and tries to move on. If there are young kids in the story that'd be good too.

He Used To Be My Idol, by Cagivagurl, is excellent.
Finish The Damn Story's ending to Cuckold Diet Challenge is sorta like that.
There's one where the marriage ends, and then the son calls the dad to help fix the wife's roof, and toward the end she comes over to help the (ex?)husband with some reno work he's doing. Forget the name.
There's also one where the husband leaves, also quits his job, and starts a new business as a service tech – or maybe translating instruction manuals – actually I might be conflating two stories by the same author. I'll see if I can find this/these.

There are a lot of LW stories like that. One of mine, “After the Future is Gone” is very much about the guy putting his life back together and improving himself, but it doesn’t have the ex trying to get back with him.

"Tipping Point" by Coaster2 is the one I was thinking of here. Others of his stories, like "Dexter's Rennaisance" and "Double Whammy", have similar structure, though I think the wife doesn’t try to return.
One of GaryAPB's stories too, I think "Back To Bristol", is a lot like you describe.
