But hell, two people can't even live in one house without bickering and fighting. How would several billion people come to one common understanding?

I didn't say things are perfect. Or even good if we aren't grading on a scale but we are grading on a scale. A scale that includes that until World War 2 where everybody agreed shit got out of hand Europe every few years would divvy into teams and go at it. That's intentionally ignoring any conflict with less than three countries. These were major players.

That's not to downplay stuff like Ukraine but the concept of the UK declaring war on France sounds absurd today.
