Having served in the military its a lot worse than we like to pretend it is. I will never forget when I made NCO and got to be at the big boys meeting and they were talking shit about this new guy and said he was a worthness nigga and you could literally see the lightbulbs going off over their heads as they realized I was in the room.

The administrations are subject to change every 4 years which will inevitably mean that the test for 'political purity' will change right along with it. You will end up with a paralyzed military. Every decision by every officer and non-com will be scrutinized through the prism of 'political purity.' The whole notion for such tests are a prescription for disaster.

I would love to see actual numbers on how our readiness is down yadda yadda. I mean the entire reason the football players are out on the field, which is a recent thing, for the anthem is because recruiting numbers were way down. ITs basically government propaganda. The CBS reporter followed up: “Racist, all the time?”

“Right, right: racist, that’s what I’m saying,” Tuberville said.

All it had taken was two months, a series of botched interviews, a slew of negative headlines and a rollicking from his party leaders, for Tuberville to get on board with the most of the rest of the US.
