Part of a series. Divorced guy is sailing, boat founders maybe due to storm. He is picked up by a tramp freighter, robbed and dumped on an island. He has amnesia from the beating by the crew.. After he recovers he helps a local female doctor who also covers other islands. Later his boat is found and his ex has it repaired and searches him.

Nope. The ex was a secondary character in another story -One Woman Man- where she told her story to a married couple. They were her guests in her yatch and the man was the MC.
