(Sorry for a copy paste, but I think I have answered most questions in this reply thread!)At the very least, you should provide a link to your profile, but far better would be to explain here why exactly you might want a female writer and why a female writer might want you. Or you could go to Story Ideas and start a thread there, and see if anyone bites, but the more details you give the more likely it is you will get a response.
Thank you Emily. It is my fault that I wasnt explicitly detailed with my request. I should have done that. If you still wish to read a bit more detailed (may not be as articulate as you wish)... kindly do read below... already posted in this thread as well. You aren’t actually that articulate you know, hun.
Still, women are sure to be lining up. It’s like JerkMate without the annoying fees round here.
Hang-on, let me adjust my remote-activated device. There, that’s better. Happy buzzing.

Thank you for a positive response which does help me. I have now done the same. Kindly do see the latest responseThere's usually an excess of people with story ideas and a shortage of people looking to write somebody else's story (for free). There's also an excess of guys who ask for female collaborators when what they're really hoping for is somebody to get off with (whether she knows it or not).
If you want any chance of having a request like this taken seriously, you'd be strongly advised to give some information about what kind of stories you're interested in, and what your contribution would be. Your profile seems more concerned with looking for a girlfriend or sexyfuntimes chat partner than a co-author, which doesn't exactly dispel the suspicion that this might be headed for the old bait-and-switch.
A little more detailed response is provided in the latest thread for your kind perusal!I'm interested in the username 'ArticulateCuckold.' What is the story idea? Why are the ladies the only ones invited to participate? Is this just a sleazy attempt to get the ladies involved for sleazy reasons? What's going on here? What's the state of the nation? When will I win a whole of cash in Lotto???
Yes, I am a newbie and I didnt give a lot of details here, on my first post! Now, getting desperate - definitely not!Notable that he joined a year ago, and this is his first post. He must be getting desperate.![]()
Hi hun,Thank you Emily. It is my fault that I wasnt explicitly detailed with my request. I should have done that. If you still wish to read a bit more detailed (may not be as articulate as you wish)... kindly do read below... already posted in this thread as well.
Thanks or all the messages.
#1. I am not seeking someone to jerk me off! It is just that I lack the skill to convert 10 lines to 1000 lines, for which I seek someone's collaborative assistance
#2. True - its my fault of being a new member that I did not give away some details which I would do now.
#3. Articulate - doesnt mean I would be the kind of vocabulary and grammar. It indicates I am able to convey what I intend to say, to some people (its agreed that not everyone would understand others, in the best way).
#4. My ideas rotate around suspense, thriller and family drama genres and plots would be slow burn. The plots involve multiple characters of different age groups (18+)
#5. Finally, why a female writer... let me try to answer this one to best way I can. My plots deal with multiple human emotions - happiness, anger, sad, jealousy, vengeance, revenge, possessiveness etc by both man and woman characters in multiple age sets (please see #4).
#6. No, I am posting this for first time. I do not have any other identities.
#7. Link to my profile : https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=6591137
After reading this, if there is someone who would wish to brainstorm, please do reach out as Feedback to my profile; I do not wish to advertise my email in a public forum. If not, kindly refrain from posting negative messages. It is just someone who is trying to contribute. Most of us started in ground zero, unlike the super talented personnel.
Thank you
What I seek : One or more of below
1. An articulate chat partner who is seeking good conversation.
2. A partner who is ready to invest her time and energy towards seeking short or long term relation.
3. A role-play partner who are into psychological aspects
#5. Finally, why a female writer... let me try to answer this one to best way I can. My plots deal with multiple human emotions - happiness, anger, sad, jealousy, vengeance, revenge, possessiveness etc by both man and woman characters in multiple age sets (please see #4).
Thanks a lot for this one! I really liked it.So, I’m thinking about this way too much.
In the 0.01% case that you are legit, let me tell you about working with a guy on his fantasy (at least I think it was his fantasy, it was a bit ambiguous). I ended up writing a story for him, it didn’t get massively well-received, but I like the result. So did he.
So first of all:
So I spent time and effort on his story idea.
- I knew who the guy was before he approached me - he’d commented on several of my stories
- He didn’t throw a net into the sea of female AH writers, he PMed me in a way that made it personal - maybe he sent tailored messages to nine other writers, but he made an effort
- He told me what about my writing had made him think of approaching me - he had clearly read at least half a dozen of my stories
- He didn’t once mention my gender, just scenes he had liked and characters he identified with
- He explained his idea and why he thought I might be able to do it justice
- He said it would be my story, just that he had some elements he’d like me to include, as well as the basic premise
- He didn’t come on to me at any stage, he was clearly treating me as a writer, not a potential hook-up
Perhaps learn from what he did.

Kindly read the latest postStill not clear on how this points to "need a female writer" though. Being female isn't an automatic qualification to write about those things, nor being male a disqualification.
Thanks Em,Hi hun,
Trying to reconcile your love of literature with;

Now, why am I asking for female writers! I am a man and I know how a man thinks emotionally... What is the benefit of getting another male writer (except for the writing skills) to think the same way that I think - this thought is pricking my brain and may be someone with high intellectual might say a phrase that might change my way of thinking. But waiting for that one spark.
Answer is No, you are correct. But read the above post. The probability of having two different genders think about an idea might be much more productive than same gender thinking, the same.Do all men really think alike, though?
I know there's a pop-psych industry devoted to telling people that there's Man Thinking and Woman Thinking, and never the twain shall meet. But from where I stand the differences between people within any gender look bigger than the differences between average genders.
It's kind of like saying "I asked for a man because I need somebody who can reach a high shelf and open jars" - may be better to articulate the specific things you need and ask for them directly.
If you give the impression that every woman has what you're after, women may draw some conclusions about what it is that you're after.
Yes, I agree 100%. Please think about this... those who are successful draws 100s of haters along with 100000s of lovers, with them. I shouldn't care about the 100s of haters for achieving the greater goal, where I definitely know I am not a jerk - else I would have quit by now (after watching the derogatory comments). If you give the impression that every woman has what you're after, women may draw some conclusions about what it is that you're after.
It's true that we were having some fun at your expense. You kind of stumbled into it, but there have been other such requests here before. It's difficult to know the true motivations of anybody posting here. I guess it just sounded wrong. Probably it would be better to simply ask for an editor, or for some other advice, without specifying the gender of the person you wanted to reply. It would be one thing if you had asked somebody you already know personally. But it can be tricky to come in cold to a forum you've not been on before. I've seen a number of misunderstandings - I've been in some myself - in the fifteen years or so that I've been posting on all kinds of boards.Plus... what is the guarantee that if I get a "female writer" that "we" might be able to collaborate. There is none! There is extremely good chance that the person might not like or might not be suitable to write the idea that I have (and we discuss). All these are only points of a discussion and out of 1000 discussions, may be 1-2 yield fruit
It is totally alright. Like I said, I knew I would draw Likes and Hates. But look at the positive aspect... You(and a few others) got fun, I got two creative people : EmilyMiller and BrambleThorn who are actively helping me out. Though I dont know what EmilyMiller and BrambleThorn is benefiting. But I really appreciate their comments. It's true that we were having some fun at your expense. You kind of stumbled into it, but there have been other such requests here before. You did see I am newbie here. I dont know anyone personally; I did send a few Feedback to some authors to collaborate though. But again, think about it - they get 100s of such Feedbacks. How do they know who has genuine intent vs Jerk mate. Hence I decided to shout in the public with clear understanding that I would get many boos! It's true that we were having some fun at your expense. By the way, I did look at your profile, and your bio does read like a personals ad. There is a Personals section here, with a sub-forum called the Playground. What goes on there seems far beyond flirting. There are people who have joined, it seems, specifically for those ads, not to write. Personally, I think using a writing site as a dating site is the - wrong tool for the job? For one thing, the geographic compatibility issue seems insurmountable. (Where do most of those people live?) But, I suppose the site created it as a way to bring some order to things - it's there, and people use it. Or maybe they are just "chatting" for its own sake. Author's Hangout is definitely for the writing side, although the digressions can be amazing. (I've been guilty of that.) Story Ideas has another tone, and I'm not sure if the people there are serious or just letting their kinks hang out.
If you want to see some weirdness look at the General Board or the Politics Board. Or, maybe just look briefly and leave!
Answered hereEveryone starts at one place and then improve - hope you agree. Whatever mentioned in my profile (w.r.t roleplaying aspects) was my starting point. Even with roleplays, it was never my jerking station and it never is, even now.
I get that. Actually, most of us don't truly know each other - the online world is not the same as the real world. I don't know where most of us live; "The East Coast" or such is pretty vague, if even that is offered. You did see I am newbie here. Having done several collaborative stories with different writers, I think a key point to keep in mind is that collaboration has to have something spark it - a love of a character, a reaction to another writer's style, an interest in what they're interested in. The chances of that happening with no content of your own to share is very low indeed. You did see I am newbie here.
