Is this anything like how NYC had their cops prepare for the riots and social unrest following Bragg's 34 indictments?

'Cuz if it is, then I'm wondering how Georgia justifies the expense after seeing the proof play out in NY that conservatives aren't the violent ones.

Some bogus Republican electors reportedly may flip and testify for the prosecution in the Georgia 2020 election interference investigation of former President Donald Trump.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said an unnamed number of fake electors have been offered immunity in exchange for testimony about the alleged scheme to overturn Trump’s narrow loss in the Peach State, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.

The Governor signed the Law allowing their Legistlature to remove the DA this week. The bet isn't whether they will indict...because the bet is the DA will be removed and the case will be dropped

The new law wasn't targeted at this specific DA. But I appreciate your fanatical fervor in believing that's the only reason they passed it.

Trump’s attorneys — Drew Findling, Marissa Goldberg and Jennifer Little made application to kill the Georgia 'Find More Votes' indictments coming soon.
The reason for this request? Because their client is Trump. This team is working hard to continue the tradition of Trump lawyers being sanctioned and disbarred.

Have they not been paying attention?

so not happened yet; the judge has still to make a ruling according to Bray's link above

In March, Trump’s attorneys filed a motion in Fulton Superior Court also asking officials to disqualify Willis and toss out the special grand jury’s findings. They noted this time that Judge Robert McBurney, the supervising judge of the special grand jury, has yet to rule on the motion and that Willis has notified local court officials and law enforcement she is likely to seek an indictment at some point between July 31st and Aug. 18th.
