Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

I had a good night sleep and my vintage Cockpoo also slept in, and no sinus problems, so its a good start. How is your day going Lindi, Cindy, Little Owl and Tulip? I have a brunch and then and afternoon tea scheduled. A busy day.

Mōrena e hoa mā

It’s been a day. The first hour or two were rather heightened with the middle yelling at me and being rough with his siblings and the house so we went out. He’s always better behaved out and I am somehow more calm (the drugs help 🤣)
It’s ended well 🥰
You’ve got a busy day ahead!

You reminded me of how stressful parenting can be. I see the same with my daughter who has a non-verbal autistic boy. So you have all my care and respect. Bless your day with calm and peace.

I am scheduled to go home next month (unless they cancel again) so it was summer here and I should be a different colour 😂

My day isn't going at all 😂 past 2 pm and haven't even eaten breakfast yet.

I must empty my car today, whether I feel like it or not. But I decided to pay for vacuum cleaning it. Need to give myself some slack, it's a busy week ahead and I've barely recovered from this week.

Sounds like a good day ahead

Not a bad day today so far. More motivation than yesterday for sure. Kiddo has been out with his friends. I'm about to start lunch (garlic and herb chicken with roasties and veg) then we'll just roll with whatever the rest of the day brings

Yes give yourself some slack. You do have a busy day too.

Yummy lunch - lucky your boy has a talented mom. Unfortunately the children never appreciate their parents until they go away from home and then you are royalty! Its the time inbetween that is a challenge.

Going out sounds like a practical solution in that case.

Which Bond girl has the most ridiculous suggestive name....

Pussy Galore from Goldfinger or .....

Holly Goodhead from Moonraker?

And seriously....who the fuck would name their kid Pussy Galore?
There was a British panel comedy show about current events (recently went off the air) that had an improv element. One of the improv topics on an episode was about James Bond:

"I hope your name isn't just a cheap sexual pun, Ms. Sukmeoff!" 🤣

A friend of mine from England said today is St. George's Day. Anyone know anything about this day and St. George?
St. George is the patron saint of England, among other places. April 23 is his Catholic feast day as it's believed that April 23, 303 CE was the day St. George was murdered by the Romans for refusing to recant his Christian faith.

I'm English and I don't know.
Our national flag is his cross. I think there's church services and official flag flying etc.
From a quick Google he was from the middle ages and born in Turkey but never even came to England.
Usually anything patriotic here is taken over by the same people who inflicted Brexit on us so I usually avoid it

So no dragon slaying then?
