Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

🤗 I don't wish to be an armchair doctor but my son has a lot of sensory issues around food. Could that possibly be the case? Different textures or strong flavours causing issues?
It's always a worry when they don't eat enough and I hope the problem is found soon for you all.

He's at school now so I'm just trying to catch up with myself.
No problem about being an armchair doctor, we all tend to do it especially when we share. There just might be sensory issues as her brother (my 3 year old grandson) is a non-verbal autistic child. My daughter has her hands full. At least she is getting the best medical care at the U children medical center.

Go take a nap mom. Mom's need all the rest they can get. We will always be here when you come back. 🤗

Thanks, I just might

Somehow it sounds very probable to even me. How to solve it is another thing, however. I hope the siblings at least have similar sensory issues and not wildly different, that would simplify cooking a bit.

It keeps changing. My grandson used to love my breakfast cookies and now is very fussy and only wants certain foods. We have know idea what my grandaughter will eat as my daughter is trying new things.

Oh, a fresh tea batch 😍

Better than in the morning. Morning was very awful, now I actually feel decent and less stressed. And I had a very nice discussion with my boss. He wishes for my work trial today continue. So, I'll keep fighting. Maybe it gets better.
That is such good news. I will give you a happy hug. 🤗

I have to say those changing things are somehow much harder to understand than sensory issues that stay the same.

Unless it's a situation where some things got between ok and not-ok, depending on how much load there is. I notice my ability stand certain things works that way. (Even that is difficult enough to get for people around me.)

My daughter wanted to try Tahini so I gave her mine. And I am going to make some Ricotta cheese based bars and see if she will eat those.

I sometimes wish I did not watch morning news but its a habit and I should find out things happening around me. I did learn one thing, a new drug resistant fungus is spreading, Candida auris. Of course the news only described what the effects are of the infection and horrible consequences but not prevention. So I had to search for prevention which is easy - hand washing and sanitation. I feel better. Just not happy with the reporting - sensationalisim.
