Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

I just looked it up on Wikipedia. Blue eyes originally evolved in the Near East, but the VAST majority of people with blue eyes are of Northern European origin. So we are both right!
Except Wikipedia is not really a reliable source… but I think you are both right too. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

It is when the articles are cited properly. Articles without citations are suspect.
Except the articles cited can be written by idiots. And I read about one article on wikipedia soundly disputing a competing theory by quoting an article the same twatwaffle wrote himself.

Please don’t misunderstand, I read wikipedia often, I just know it can be leaning towards an opinion and disputing evidence to the contrary.

For whatever it is worth, I truly love it when someone points out some fact that changes my opinion of something! I don’t enjoy emotional arguments or fighting at all, but a good un-emotional discussion can be really wonderful. I love it when someone enlightens me with a different perspective. I have changed my mind on the abortion issue more times than I can count. Not because I am wishy-washy (I am not), but because both sides have very valid points.

So, I really appreciate when I am enlightened on an issue - but it won’t be because of someone saying something lame like “see? Obviously blah blah blah!” Bring some real evidence, not an emotional opinion. I have enough emotionalism for all of us all on my own. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s a good thing to be skeptical! Engineers are really good at that!
