The weird thing in Finland is that our language comes from behind Ural, but only a fraction of genes come from there. Later migrants have taken the local language.

Blue is recessive, too. So it's enough for it to be rare, and its will almost never show up. Make it more common and then it will.

Oh… that is interesting. And as a kid, I had naturally blonde hair too… in my late 20’s I suddenly was freaked out to realize my hair had gotten darker.

hum, I have had dark hair my whole like and now in my mid 40s I am a little freaked out that my hair seems to be getting lighter, like these random blonde hairs are appear. (yeah, blonde, I am going with blonde and sticking with it. Mother nature is giving me random highlights.)

Rather I think it had a chance to evolve. Brown eyes do just as well here.

Light skin evolved because it's more effective in making vitamin D. Eyes are not essential for that at least.

I thought he did an OK job with Star Trek. Not great, but not terrible.

It was just rehashing what they already did. So lame!!! And really, that is what he did in Star Wars too. I had no opinion of him before, but those two efforts make me think the man has no original thoughts in his head. But in all fairness, Hollywood didn’t want good, they want something people will watch - so good job JJ! You made money! Yay! I can’t blame him for wanting to make money, but that does not mean I am going to say I think he has talent.

I just looked it up on Wikipedia. Blue eyes originally evolved in the Near East, but the VAST majority of people with blue eyes are of Northern European origin. So we are both right!
