This is why I wish they’d sell more egg varieties than just brown and white at the store, color can definitely enhance food.

Well, with chicken eggs you can't get anything else than white and brown, I think.

I've had duck eggs once. Not quite sure I liked them, and in cooking & baking they behave somewhat differently. Better in some and worse in some things than chicken eggs. I believe that applies to other egg species as well.

Those are the only colors you can get at the store. I once bought into a farm share and a couple of times we picked it up straight from the farm and he gave us green eggs, blue eggs and even yellowish, and said he has to give them away because people will only buy brown and white.

Especially for Easter it would be awesome. Imagine a variety of naturally colourful eggs!

yes, it's a thing .... I LOVE eggs... absolutely love eggs on toast and eggs benedict.

Even the brown ones stand out more thanks to the green and blue ones!

Easter is coming and my kids remember that their mother used to eat their bunny ears to which my X to this day says she never did. So, I send this to my adult children now they LAO. I hope it gives you a chuckle.
