As soon as I posted mine you had fixed it, I was too lazy to delete mine. Like I said earlier I have never poofed on Chaos so why should I start now

I said it's not about the pics for me. It's all the comments. Sometimes it feels like a popularity contest of who can get the most comments before they poof. On top of that, all of the intense attention on pics is probably scaring some people away from posting at all. I'd probably post more often if it didn't generate so many comments.

If I make posts or share pics, I want people to respond! That's what a message board is for, right? I've never seen it as a popularity thing. Plus, the Chaos threads are notoriously the fastest moving threads.

That’s why I usually make a comment. Compliment the person and thank them for posting.

On a personal thread where there's no contest, sure, conversations are meant to be had! But I don't like it when people try to generate maximum drama and mystery with their posts and then poof into nothing, not even leaving so much as any context in the post, which generates more comments and keeps the conversation on them. It definitely looks like a popularity contest to anyone looking in considering joining in.

So I think you may be misinterpreting the reason folks poof. I don't know anyone that poofs for attention. Most folks poof because posting pushes them outside of their comfort zone. I poof because I dont want my photo out there for a long time. I actually don't post in the chaos undress thread all that often anymore because it just wasn't a fit for me.
Finding the places that are good fits and feed your soul instead of drain it is important.

Hey, if you poof but edit to leave some context, then it's fine. But when someone is trying really hard to be super mysterious and then 3 pages later the comments are still about them, and only them, with other posts being ignored, it's not cool.

I don't think I'll be posting in chaos undressed again if things stay the same.

Totally your choice. If it isn't a place that works for you dont post there but please try not to assign blame or judgment on why someone poofs or what happens when they do.
