I’ve actually always loved lamb. I do find that sometimes it has a gamey flavor, but most of the time it’s delicious! Especially in Greek food!

I actually went to an amazing restaurant that specialized in Lamb! It was a chain called “I Love You”. The lamb was awesome! I also had tripe there for the second time in my life and it was delicious too!

And ham can be good … sliced thin and grilled with slices of pineapple… mmmmmmmm

My wife can't chew ham...no teeth! Nada, none.

Funnily enough one of the best meals I had there was in the Painter’s Village at a dumpling shop. We ate at a picnic table outside in the street, while the cook made the dumplings in an alley behind us. So damn yummy!!

Had to look it up. The village is Dafen.

A couple weeks I hit a different food truck each day and got either shawarma or gyros. It was a good week. At least DC has a good immigrant population so the food is tasty.

In China we used to go to these little stands were you’d get a box of hot coals, skewers, plate of spices and then thin slivers of usually organ meat. You threaded it yourself, spiced it and grilled it.

In China we used to go to these little stands were you’d get a box of hot coals, skewers, plate of spices and then thin slivers of usually organ meat. You threaded it yourself, spiced it and grilled it.

I never ran into a restaurant like that while I was in Shenzhen, sounds like hot pot without the soup!

The most messed up thing I saw when I was in China (Hong Kong in this case). I went up the funicular railway up to the top of Victoria Peak for a bit of sightseeing with the other people I was there with. At the top there is a shopping mall, and the first thing I see: Frickin Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant!!! SMH!

I ate so much of that growing up. About every three/four years I get a craving for liver. But that’s my limit.

Lobster too, it's like eating rubber. The only shellfish I can eat is crab, and it has to be really adulterated.
