I am about to sign off to charge lap top etc. in advance of the stormy weather. I will be safe. I liked the discussion about wolves, alpha males and maybe add leaders. I think of 2 WW2 generals, one led by fear (his troops feared him) and they other with caring - Patton versus Bradley.

I once visited a zoo in the winter. Best visit I've ever had! Heat didn't make animals lazy, and there were very few people. Probably no more visitors than workers. So the animals were active, and wolves were actually curious. In the summer one might not even see them (as they could retreat to an area in the background) - now they came to see who walks there.

The air in their steps... Compared to dogs they DANCE in the snow. They have style that no dog has. I'll never forget that.

Agreed, I've seen them from a long distance in the wild.
But also at the zoo. Incredibly graceful and majestic. Probably my favorite trip to a zoo anywhere-ever was seeing wolves play and interact.

Oh man … I found a tiktok playlist of a radio station that men (or women I guess) can call in and talk about their first date that they thought went well but didn’t hear back from the women. Then the radio calls the women and gets THEIR side of the story. Omg this is so fucking juicy!!!!!

What I love about it too is that the guys are so clueless …

It’s good though cuz most guys genuinely have no clue they are being creepy, inappropriate, weird, etc

It’s not embarrassing people… sometimes it’s about a safe space to tell someone the reason why you weren’t interested..

I was genuinely surprised by the amount of guys who had NO clue they were being rude, inappropriate, creepy, etc.

One guy pulled his phone out during a first date to watch a football game. He was so shocked that it was considered rude.

When I was a kid I was so stupid. I would obsess over a girl I like and would make things so much worse. I spent my entire high school life chasing this girl who always had boyfriends and did the same in college. I had so little experience I thought I was in love (well, in retrospect I did love the girl in college). It took me YEARS until I figured out to just relax and let things happen. I put some personal ads in the paper (remember those? LOL) and met some nice women and got stood up a few times, and eventually met my wife.

I'd like to think if I was ever single again I would be so much cooler and relaxed...

Yes but what if … like above the man pulled his phone out to watch the game and didn’t realize that’s why someone wouldn’t want a 2nd date… and so he continues to do this again and again. I think it makes sense to have an avenue like that to be able to let someone know what they are doing that isn’t working for them.

Oftentimes people go on date after date and it never works out and they are SO clueless … usually women are too afraid (and with good reason) to tell that person why they weren’t interested.

If you actually listened to it, the radio station isn’t doing it to embarrass.. maybe sometimes that happens.. but I don’t think that’s the intention.
