I like certain breeds of cats. Probably because they are more dog like than cat like.

I think cats are too cute (although I’ve met some that are pure evil) but I am a dog lover (after my gf, she just made me put this in ). I grew up with German Shepherds and my parents still have two and I think they are adorable.

I grew up with cigarette smoking parents who had a cat and they wondered why I had asthma and allergies. When I moved to college what a relief – I could breathe. I am still allergic to cats but not as severe a reaction as before.

I like their style – I will come when I want something like food, attention or make me purr. My vintage Cockapoo has some of those same qualities which makes we wonder if he really is a dog.

My dad was allergic to cats forever and then for some reason was able to tolerate them.
