I must be doing it right then even though our recipes are different and me never measuring anything. I use flour, a bit of baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg. Wisk all the dry ingredients together well, then add buttermilk, an egg, and vanilla. Wisk again, adding more buttermilk until batter is well mixed. The rest of it goes pretty much like you said except I use butter flavor Pam on the skillet and margi between the cakes.I wonder if you mean how I read that. Because the batter is supposed to spread all over the pan. Such a shame I didn't think of taking a video when making those...
