Hello chaos peeps! How’s it going? I’m just trying to take it easy, trying not to eat everything in sight lol. It’s a bit hard right now I need wait a few more days so I can start testing my blood sugars again. I had an accident and lost the rest of my test strips, I’ll be fine I just keep to my restrictions and meds.

That's a drag, walmart sells comparable test strips, I'm also type 2 and test 3 times a day, I take Glyburide 5miligrams 3 times a day oral meds. I've been a known diabetic since 1998 and after a while sugar cravings go away and you can settle out to non sugary things. I'm the cook for me and my wife and I who is gluten free.

Sorrow takes it's toll. And the first weeks, even months tend to have quite a bit of arrangements, when the death visits so near that it falls on your family to do that all.

Yes. Would have started a bigger one, but my desk is full of work stuff (not just laptop but also separate keyboard, mouse and extra screen) and on the kitchen table I have the tiny seedlings.

Thought I wouldn't be able to do anything, before I realised I have that tiny one, it fits on the coffee table.

I usually have a coffee after dinner. Sometimes I have a green tea( as I did tonight) or a hot chocolate! Deeper into the winter I'll have either a hot lemon/barley drink or a hot blackcurrant drink

I cannot drink coffee much after 2 pm but like a decaf mocha (brew myself decaf coffee, add cocoa blended with the with cream, and a dash of cinnamon.) in the evening. It is my winter evening drink. Now I am transitioning to the green tea and honey. I like your tea choices for a relaxing evening.
