Age is just a number, it's what's inside that counts. It's your body, you do what makes you feel good in it.

I can only agree with the posts quoted here. It's a very personal thing that only the person doing the piercing can decide.
I've always said that if I didn't get a tattoo when I was young and stupid, why should I get one today?
With that said I don't judge others for getting a tattoo or piercing when they are older. If they feel pretty doing so, go ahead! Your body your choice! And if you feel pretty it will show on the outside.

I did get a belly pierced, by a bullet when I was 17, in a drive by shooting in the neighborhood I grew up in. My aunt and uncle that I lived with moved after that.

I grew up in a big city, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA a lot of historical stuff in that city, but it's also a rough place to live, a lot of crime, shootings, muggings, lovely! A close second to NYC.

I’ve been into the Arctic circle so I was thinking it would be nice if I could go to the Antarctic circle. So I googled it well it doesn’t look very easy. The only way to be in it is to go to Antarctica and that looks like a difficult travel itinerary

I got my first tattoo at 30. I was always too scared to mark my body permanently. But having 18 surgeries by then, I was very scarred, many of which have left quite a bit of damage. I thought fuck it, these are scars that I chose. It’s had the added and surprising result of making me show more skin because two of the four I have are specific to me and one of a kind. They’re art and I love them. That being said, I probably would still be tattoo free if I hadnt experienced what I have medically x
