"What we've been able to accomplish here through Putin's invasion of Ukraine is to remind everybody in the world — when it comes to bullies, you better stand up to them before it's too late," he added.

Yup, just 5 years ago Trump was toasting Russian diplomats in the Oval Office to celebrate the deconstruction of NATO. Many of those who paid for and drank Trump's Kool Aid are still staggering around, winning GOP primaries, but the 95-to-1 vote is a good indication of who will win in the general elections.

Putin lovers, election deniers, women haters, scapegoaters, and pathological liars don't have much appeal outside of the shrinking Trump base. You'd think they would have learned that after the last election, but we're dealing with people who think the world is whatever they want it to be in their fairy land of social media.

Turkey's president had accused Finland and Sweden of supporting groups that Turkey sees as terrorists.

He said earlier this month that Finland had taken "authentic and concrete steps" to address his grievances, and that he now supported Finland joining.

Turkey has not yet approved Sweden's bid.
