Nashville Shooter Is A 28 Year Old Woman.

They don't. A handgun is used in the vast majority of gun violence.
Specifically school shootings in the last ten years, you're incorrect. And since more school shootings have occurred in the last ten years then the previous 20, I'll go with current trends.

No way in hell the shooter would've gotten into the classroom with only the handgun. And in the off chance they did ...less people would've been killed

But enjoy thinking otherwise...you're simply incorrect.

And yet the AR15 bullet is travelling at a faster rate. The number of bullets indicate the AR-15 was used. Add in the likely fact that this person was not a gun expert.

If handguns are the same, then why do people choose AR15s so often?
No one fucking cares, at least no one with more than one functioning brain cell. AR platforms aren't going anywhere, "common sense gun control" isn't going anywhere. You simple minded little bitches are just going to have to focus on the monkey not the stick. (One wonders if that's even possible?)

I'm just curious, but if she had brought in 3 Molotov cocktails and tossed them in the office and a couple of classrooms would you be calling for a ban on glass bottles and gasoline? Because obviously it would be the Molotov cocktails that are to blame and not the perpetrator throwing them.

We're not the "little bitches" whining about our penis substitutes being taken away, little bitch.

If entry occurred by shooting out a window in a door do tell why a pistol couldn't have done that?

Once inside the building all the victims were in the open. No body armor and no barricaded protection. She carried a Smith and Wesson M&P 9 mm which can have up to a 17 round magazine. She could have accomplished exactly the same with the pistol as the rifle.

The thing is.....I'm focusing on multiple things. Specifically the weapon of choice used to kill kids often and the ability of novice dipshits with mental issues that want to use them.

Making it harder for these people to buy and keep high powered weapons that kill 6 instead of 1, will make it more.likely that they will just give up and try something else. The shooter in this case was not a rocket scientist.

The difference is that one AR-15 fired bullet shot did more damage to the windows. It would've taken them longer. The police literally were a few mins out.

Unless the windows were bullet resistant, or wire re-enforced, the pistol round would have shattered the glass with one or 2 rounds.

One window, yes. Not both. (Two doors).

And likely not fully shattered enough to allow entry as quickly. They already seem to have issues even with the AR.

The point here is you don't know that for a fact anymore than I do. My understanding is she shot out the window then reached in to unlock the door.

There is 90 billion in unused, unobligated and available funding. Use the funds to harden our schools. Convert all school entrances to ballistic glass and upgrade surveillance capabilities. Park a cruiser at entrances to schools. Deterrence is key. Maybe it’s time to have a formal training program for resource officers that meet federal or state standards that are an addition to the active police force. Preposition bullet proof shields and weapons as well as well as enhanced first aid capabilities at key locations in all schools. The first 2 minutes is critical.

State and federal officials have to really do a bottom up risk assessment of all schools.

Let's start with the fact that the AR15 platform is NOT "high powered". It's a mid range platform. If you want "high power" you'd best move up to the AR10 platform.

Next, you are NOT addressing the problem. That being a raging, mentally unstable, and most likely drug addled, maniac. (I can't wait to see the toxicology report on that particular POS.) An alternative would be to call for the repeal of the 2nd amendment and good luck with that. You and the rest of your clan are stuck on stupid.

There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 70,000 sword federal officers while there are way over 10 million AR platforms out there and don't count on the local LE officer's to help out in the event of any confiscation plan. And you won't be able to count on the military either. That would be lighting a fire you can't control.

Second Amendment Sanctuary counties.

Put yourself in the shoes of a school shooter. What would you do if you had multiple AR-15’s and a handgun and your school of choice was fortified? Or EVERY school was fortified? It’s not exactly rocket science and the number of victims would still be high.

It's a higher velocity bullet than a handgun. Going through someone is more likely.

You fucking idiots are stuck on stupid.

I don't give a shit if you own one or want one. Because they have proven time and time again to do more damage to human beings, if you have one, you should need to prove responsible enough to not kill people with it.

you are a hateful monster...... we have so many gun laws and the Dems controlled all of congress just one year ago. So why was an assault weapons ban not passed then? Because they have no interest in doing so as this issue, just like the border crisis, is a way to raise money for re election and to divide us further. Just an FYI the trans community is now calling for a day of revenge and I have seen the posts on Twitter. So what does that mean? Kill Christians? And my family carries as well, both my daughters and me as I was attacked while running alone and almost ended up like that poor girl in Memphis that was running alone and killed. Sounds like you wanna ban police, ban guns and leave everyone on their own. Maybe you are a predator and want to assault women? Hmmmm? I am sure you will have a smart ass response and I will not look nor care what you write but you are nothing but a loser and a soulless, hateful monster. Just like Biden.
Strict gun laws work by every measurement.

If it was heavily fortified the AR-15 in 5.56 mm would not be my choice at all. It is an intermediate cartridge and there are better choices. In fact the U.S. Army is moving away from the 5.56 mm due to its limitations. The new battle rifle and squad machine gun will use 6.8 mm ammunition.

Interesting choice of words. “Wouldn’t be my choice” for slaughtering children at a fortified school. I didn’t realize that was actually on your radar, so I’ll stop now before I give you any more ideas.

There are 3 issues. 1. Keep firearms out of the hands of mentally disturbed individuals 2. Keep armed mentally disturbed individuals outside our schools. 3. Have the ability to quickly respond in the case of a breach.

Multiple AR-15s is irrelevant, you can only use one at a time. AR-15s are magazine fed usually 20-30 round capacity. It would make more sense to carry one AR and several magazines. Deterrence is key. Banning AR-15s or AK-47 replicas is cosmetic, there are millions of these weapons scattered throughout the country. The focus should be isolating a dark heart before he/she arms themselves. I believe if schools are hardened a perpetrator will move on to another soft target, church, shopping mall ect!

Dealing with reality! You just asked to put yourself in the shoes of a shooter, and he did!!! Make up my mind.

Yes there are. The assault rifle ban worked. There would NOT be “millions of these weapons scattered throughout the country” if politicians in the pocket of the NRA hadn’t done everything they could to make it easier for ANYONE to obtain assault rifles. Voting them out is the first step.

Correct, so let’s stop talking about fortification of schools and arming teachers being the answer to the problem.

While the tone of their heart might be difficult to determine, the ability for family and therapists to remove guns from people should be nationwide. Those seeking mental health assistance should demonstrate they can be responsible to continue owning their weapon, regularly. Those called out by others should demonstrate even more that they can handle one.

Guns that cause more damage more quickly should have a higher threshold of ownership criteria. The same should apply to ammo purchases.
