I find it odd that the Supreme Court so grossly misinterpreted the second amendment. That amendment is about a regulated militia, not random civilians. Neither does it guarantee individual civilian ownership of assault rifles any more than it does of nuclear-payload rockets.

Interestingly, they finally released some of the audio of the Uvalde massacre. You can hear the fear in the cops voices. "Shooter has a BATTLE RIFLE!" "oh noe! we can't go in THERE then!" (They knew their GI Joe cosplay "bulletproof" vests wouldn't stop a "varmint rifle" .223 slug).
