Rove notes that if the WaPo report that it’s only raised $1.5 million is true, that’s not good news for Trump. It shows that donors are getting burned out. Rove also suggested that if Trump’s calls for followers to “PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST!!!” draws small crowds, that will look really bad for Trump.

I think that if Trump is actually indicted his fundraising will either go through the roof or will dry up completely. Which sounds wishy washy but the reality is that while Trump is popular he's also yesterday's news. Most people have moved on politically but we will always love an underdog fighting against oppression.

The lack of participation for protests is more likely due to FBI persecution of the J6 participants than anything else. The government has effectively used law enforcement to abrogate the 1st Amendment.
