Trump to be Arrested Tuesday

Who thinks Trump gets arrested tomorrow? Who thinks we see nationwide rio. . .peaceful protests.
nope

if, and that's a big IF since the grand jury still is hearing testimony from witnesses, he gets indicted tomorrow it'll surely be released to bring himself into whichever precinct/cop house that's named, where he'll be treated with virtual kid gloves in order to preserve his dignity. *rollseyes* what dignity? he has none!

if it goes this way (above), i think there'll be some idiots still acting out and being loud and proud dumbarses, but i'd be very surprised to see the kind of violence seen on jan. 6th. They know more and more of those who did the deeds than are coming up in front of a judge and not getting to walk. And they know the police are more aware and listening to their histrionic, warmongering chatter.

I am actually sick and tired of the way people go to such great lengths to defend Trump after all this time, when his words and actions are so blatantly immoral, unchristian, self-serving and corrupt. I agree with Adrina above. I mean, sometimes I just want to shake these people and say "What the FUCK is WRONG with you?" HOW can a good person defend the things he has said and done? ESPECIALLY now, after the 2021 insurrection- how can any good patriotic American defend that shit? You can't. It's like trying to defend Hitler, or any number of corrupt self serving autocrats. At some point, you just make yourself look like a flawed human being, a bad person.

I am not saying that Biden and various Democrats are not flawed as well, but as you say, nothing nearly as egregious and indefensible as what Trump has said and done, over and over, for the last six (going on 7) years now.
Given everything that has happened starting with the TEA Party cus man they showed up quick when it was obvious Obama was gonna get the nomination and Presidency. McCain was a sacrifice and he knew it and he was a good man. I think sad as it was one of his great moments on the trail was a woman shouted that Obama was a Muslim and he responded "No he's a good person." We know what he meant but shows what we think of Muslims in this country.

Those people were also/transitioned into Birthers. Trump being the leader among them.

The Right hopes you remember 2016 as Hillary vs Trump. Which was true. . .at the end. They had 13 going on 30 potentials. Some of whom were actual human beings but they nominated the most vile piece of shit possible because a black man had been president, a woman was about to be president. This was revenge, pure as the driven snow.

So what makes you think these are good people defending Trump, not scumbags who Trump just gave the courage to step out of the shadows for?

Really, you too? I thought only Harpy, our ambulance chasing mascot, was in the dark.

Its not the payoff. It’s where the money came from and the fraud around reporting it.

Small potatoes in the big scheme, but maybe cracks the seal of things that finally stick on the crook.
Cohen arranged the payment. Even Cohen's legal counsel stated Bragg is basically delusional and Cohen is a pathological liar. This is election interference in its truest form. Can't wait! When it comes to fairness a grand jury panel in NYC against Trump is laughable on its face, almost as bad as DC. The SDNY and DOJ refused to indict but Bragg is willing to take the hit in the name of justice. TOO FUNNY! The use of the justice system to exact some sort of political retribution is despicable. Kind of reminds me of the two sham impeachments and Pelosi's KANGAROO commission. Bragg will set our justice system back to the stone ages should he attempt this.

mccarthy's giving pence a run for his 'from both-sides of his mouth' award:

after defending trump's calls to protest by saying he'll instigate investigations into how and who got trump indicted, he then tries to tell the people of the USA that it's misinterpretation on their part... nothing to do with what trump meant or wanted. If you swallow that you'll swallow anything.

Instead, when it came to discussing Trump’s calls for protests, McCarthy’s remarks were head-spinning. “I don’t think people should protest this, no,” the speaker said. “I think President Trump, if you talk to him, he doesn’t believe in that either. I think the thing that you may misinterpret when President Trump talks, when someone says that they can protest, he’d probably be referring to my tweet, ‘educate people about what’s going on.’ He’s not talking in a harmful way. And nobody should.”
There are a couple points to note here. First, McCarthy is preposterously claiming Trump “doesn’t believe” what he has literally called for on his personal social media platform. Telling the public that they’re “misinterpreting” Trump’s language is gaslight-level denialism.

100% the following:
Trump deliberately calibrates his language to incite his most hardcore supporters while maintaining an escape hatch of plausible deniability. We saw it when Trump promised supporters that Jan. 6, 2021 would be a “wild” time, and when he leaned on his supporters to “fight like hell” before they stormed the Capitol. In both instances, Trump has pretended that it was traditional abstract political rhetoric, even as his militant wing saw it as a green light to use force.

The fact that Trump wasn't removed from office for those impeachments shows that Republicans are really hard party before country. The Dems have never been in a similar position so its impossible to prove if they would or wouldn't though how little they did to defend Hillary shows its unlikely.

Cohen arranged the payment.
Sure. At the behest of The Godfather

I lost a response due to a snafu. But the bottom line is that Cohen is a liar, but trump is a worse liar. Be interesting to see who gets believeEd more.

The impeachments were valid. Your repubs failed their sworn constitutional oaths to uphold the constitution.

I'm so sick and tired of this piece of shit. I'm disgusted that there were and are so many who support him - because he acts like he hates who they hate. He's a disgrace to America and those who still support him are essentially traitors in that they don't care about America but instead about their "strong man". Just... contemptible.
Well said

I agree with this statement!

However, you misconstrue a legitimate pursuit of justice as "Political Retribution." There is a key point you are deliberatly missing.

Why should anyone get away with breaking the law, or committing treason AND formenting an insurrection, simply because he is the same political party that you support?

It's as if you don't think the charges against Mr. Trump are valid and legitimate. News flash: Yes they are.

It's not political retribution, it's JUSTICE. NOBODY should be above the law. Even an ex-president whose crimes are far more egregious than, say, lying about a sexual affair.

And let me guess; you probably DEFENDED the actions against Clinton when he was in the white house- impeachment for lying about sex, am I right? And somehow "But...but That's DIFFERENT!" Because it was a Democrat in the white house, right?.

Or maybe I should register as a Republican, and go rob a guy at gunpoint, and when I get arrested I can beg Trump to bail me out and gain sympathy because I'm a "True Patriot." I know this sounds simple, but really, can you not see this is exactly what you are promoting here? I fail to see why you delibereately are so dense.

Your hypocrisy and stubborn ignorance makes me sick. I hate to be so negative, but I guess, I'm just sick of the bullshit that I have to explain to you children over and over again.

Bragg is on a witch hunt. No one but progressive politicians give a shit about this attempt to indict Trump. Most Americans are more concerned with the price of eggs not Trump paying off a porn star. Stormy should have been prosecuted for extortion.

B Clinton was charged for lying to a grand jury which is a felony. Hillary obstructed justice which is a felony. Your selective poutrage is quite comical.

It doesn't take much effort to handle chumps like you. You do all the heavy lifting.
WOW! Awesome response. Tell your mom to give you some hot chocolate instead of plain milk. Bravo!

Yet more absolute shit from you. Yet you believe you are so avant garde. How pathetically sad for you.

Inciting a violent riot in order to overturn a democratic election is a felony. Conspiring with a foreign power to rig an election- yup, felony. Under-reporting income taxes? Felony. The payoff for Stormy Daniels is actually pretty small potatoes but yes, it's a crime.

Your attempt to defend trump's actions does not speak well of your character. At the very LEAST, it makes you a hypocrite. Most Americans want to see the rule of law applied equally in all cases and justice done to those who are above the law. Whether it's Clinton or Trump- or both. Which means, they want to see Trump convicted. Even if you obviously do not.

I mean, dude, "Witch hunt??" Well maybe the prosecutor who convicted Timothy McVeigh was on a Witch Hunt then, too. Right? Or the one who put away John Wayne Gacy- a self described loyal patriot. I mean, I'm trying really hard to be rational here. I really am. Your utter, almost child-like stubbornness is making it difficult.

Americans are concerned about eggs butt hey are also very concerned that Trump gets punished for his various crimes. This is the least among them but they know this MUST happen. Bragg isn't on a witch hunt. There is no question that Trump did what he's accused of. There is no question that it was illegal. These are not things that are currently up for debate. These are facts as much as you hate them.

Yes Bill was charged for lying. . .about a BJ. Lets stop pretending he wasn't punished for the BJ. And yes, Trump is being punished for his like fiftieth affair and this is the technicality. The only real difference was there was no real purpose in going after Clinton when they did. I forget what the fuck Hillary did since so much was proven bullshit over the years.

^Well said. I am sick of trying to explain this to these idiots. It's actually, to be honest, bringing out the worst in me.

I care about the U.S. as a free and democratic society, I care about this country my ancestors fought and bled for, and I care that people who support the very things my ancestors sacrificed their lives fighting AGAINST, are trying to take our country away from us. So maybe I do get carried away. But for people to say they care about the "Constitution" and the "Rule of Law," yet conveniently look the other way when it comes to Trump's blatant and egregious crimes against both- and then, have the audacity to claim "Witch Hunt" when the justice department tries to bring about fair and equal justice- it's maybe a little too much for me.

Yeah, I don’t know about that. Seems like I recall Barr appointing a NY district attorney that stalled the trump investimation.
