A bit like me today, looking all around. Except I'm not travelling nor seeing family.
 
Had a good day out yesterday. I was so exhausted but I got things done. :) Got home without issues last night despite severe exhaustion. Slept till after 10 this morning. It's been two hours and my stress level is through the roof.

A friend of mine I worked with yesterday was having a mental masturbation session online going about all the work we did years ago, how much fun he's having being the Great White Chief now, etc. I love him to death, and I'm so happy for him. But he does this all the time! Dude, shut up--I get it! You've done a great job since I left almost 15 years ago! You don't have to go on about it all the time!

My Dad would not shut up about a set of keys we couldn't find. Kept going on that someone in the family stole them, he needs to have them returned, etc. Turned out I had them where I had the keys I got from him in the ER three weeks ago. OK Dad, can you shut up about the keys now? Just wound up waiting for him to bang on about something else.

Trying to get in touch with the lady friend I saw last week. I've sent a couple of messages this weekend and she hasn't seen them or responded to them. I'm used to a lot of people not seeing my messages and they get lost in the shuffle. I'm worried about seeming too eager, mean, etc. I don't know what to do.

I can only handle so much weird shit at a time, and I got enough of my own right now. :(

I used to flat with a girl that insisted whenever someone said ‘comes’ or ‘coming’ we had to reply with ‘all over your face’. It’s so ingrained at this point 17 years later that I do a sing song reply in my head 🤣🤭.
Yes I’m a teacher and parent and my mind is a messed up place to be
