Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

There has been a fair amount of good news this week. I want to add to it .

(First, @BrendaD how did the interview go?)

Yesterday I was at a Hospital in a nearby (+2h away) city to speak to my Cardiac Surgeon and the tech for my implant. I am being treated for congestive heart failure. It has been a long road. (re-read that last part @rjr_1954 ). I had an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) surgically installed at the end of October. Sharp-eyed folks who dare to look at my pics on the Chaos-Don't Stress, Undress thread may have noticed the scar on y left upper chest. I had a rough November (I will spare you the gory details)/ At the end of November (day after my birthday) I had a catheter ablation (they shove a laser up a vein in my leg and zap the misbehaving part of my heart).

I have been taking it easy since I was released from the hospital. Yesterday was my 3 month follow-up from the ICD. (yes, I know it has been 4 months; the health care system is still stressed here).

After the Tech played with my device, the Surgeon came by, looked at the computer printout and display, adjusted one medication and told me I can start physical activity again. Yes. It means that.

There are still restrictions. I can't use a chainsaw or weld (I weld like a spastic monkey, so no loss there, but I just bought a real nice chainsaw :().

Anyways...what else did I miss (Other than the astrology survey @Cindy027 took that was written in the 50s)?
Thanks for the update Tan... so glad you got the okay for physical activity. So retire already... life is short. Hugs!
