I hope they are OK? Was it a well visit I hope?Mine was the doc visit runner today.
Yup. Just the one week weight check. He’s gained all that he lost from birth back. I’ve spent all week educating my girl on foods that help breastfeeding. (No. No creepers.)I hope they are OK? Was it a well visit I hope?
You are a good mom and grandma. My grandson is on the spectrum, nonverbal, and take him to special ABA therapy, and my granddaughter, who already has me wrapped around her little finger, is going to be one year next month! Tan congrats on the fitness report. Great news. There has been a fair amount of good news this week. I want to add to it .
(First, @BrendaD how did the interview go?)
Yesterday I was at a Hospital in a nearby (+2h away) city to speak to my Cardiac Surgeon and the tech for my implant. I am being treated for congestive heart failure. It has been a long road. (re-read that last part @rjr_1954 ). I had an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) surgically installed at the end of October. Sharp-eyed folks who dare to look at my pics on the Chaos-Don't Stress, Undress thread may have noticed the scar on y left upper chest. I had a rough November (I will spare you the gory details)/ At the end of November (day after my birthday) I had a catheter ablation (they shove a laser up a vein in my leg and zap the misbehaving part of my heart).
I have been taking it easy since I was released from the hospital. Yesterday was my 3 month follow-up from the ICD. (yes, I know it has been 4 months; the health care system is still stressed here).
After the Tech played with my device, the Surgeon came by, looked at the computer printout and display, adjusted one medication and told me I can start physical activity again. Yes. It means that.
There are still restrictions. I can't use a chainsaw or weld (I weld like a spastic monkey, so no loss there, but I just bought a real nice chainsaw).
Anyways...what else did I miss (Other than the astrology survey @Cindy027 took that was written in the 50s)?
Cause you can get them all wired on sugar. Then send them home to the parents. Lol.I know this has no bearing on perversion, but grandkids are totally the best.

Well I am not an expert on babies, but smiles help a lot. And maybe you are better at toddler entertainment. I do well with toddlers than infants. Get a soap bubble maker - it gets giggles all the time.Oh nooooo.
Me and babies are like oil and water. Every baby I picked up except one has cried. I pick them up or hold them. Within seconds they cry. Not that cry of hey mom I don’t like this. It’s that earth shattering window breaking cry.
The one and only baby that didn’t cry. He was my 3rd cousin. I was standing talking to my Aunt. The baby was walking around. He ran into my leg. Grabs my pants and starts looking up. He finally looks me in the face and promptly falls back. Lands on his butt. As I laughed at him. He sits there staring at me. He finally gets up and wanders off.
Few minutes later he comes back. I’m sitting playing a game with the family. He’s staring at me. So I picked him up and tried playing with him. He just stared standing in my lap facing me. With that who/ what the hell
I think lot of it is my height. That and I am nervous around the little ear shatterersWell I am not an expert on babies, but smiles help a lot. And maybe you are better at toddler entertainment. I do well with toddlers than infants. Get a soap bubble maker - it gets giggles all the time.
