I haven't had any issues. But then, we're in a fairly small town and I know a lot of the kids already. Some are friends with my kids, some I've coached in rugby, some I just know their parents. So it's a big leg up when they're not worried I'll send them to the principal's office - they know I'll just call their mom instead.

That's awesome. My mother-in-law still gets recognized at the grocery store by some of her former students. Similar situation there. Everybody goes to the same 3 public schools and you never know when you'll show up to a wedding and you know you'd already know half the guests.
