Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Just woke up to say...
GOODNIGHT CHAOS!!!
Last night was fun. ❤❤❤
But all things must sleep...
🤗😍🤗

Never a bad thing, as one who has had struggles with mental health. Asking for help was the hardest thing I ever had to do, and the best thing I ever did.
Isn't the first time by any means, but when I moved to another province, my mental health care contact was cut, and I didn't really get a new one. So now I need to start from zero in that sense, which is a pain when needing an acute appointment.

Morning 😞

Pondering on calling to book a doctor's appointment. For mental health.
If you’re pondering then definitely book. MH here is going to the dogs. I’d say a clinical psychologist is needed in most schools now, and not just for the kids.

My hope is no one ever has to deal with MH in any real capacity but there’s something about a person owning their shit 👌🏼💪🏽

For some of us it’s a constant, and most days we got this, other days, we got each other 😘😘😘 (cos the health system sucks balls, and not in a fun way).

I should add that the health system is understaffed, under funded and majorly overworked… the individuals themselves are fucking rockstars.
Political rant over 😘😘😘

Waiting for them to call back - last time it took 2 days. I'd just need the appointment today...

Wish I had occupational healthcare, but as I'm only doing a trial paid by the insurance company, I don't get occupational healthcare.
Good job for making the call 😘. Massive hugs to you gorgeous girl, and fingers, toes and legs crossed that they get back to you today

In my experience, there is no such thing as an acute appointment.
Remember I live across the Atlantic. Any experiences from the US health care don't apply here. Unfortunately even here it varies. It was better where I lived the last 10 years.

Here the system has officially a concept called acute appointment. Depending on the case it can be within 1-3 days. But if even calling back takes that 3 days, peoples needing care the same day, but not needing ER, are in a bad position. At least some of them tend to end up in ER, crowding it.

I understand that as well. At least you realize you need done assistance.
I am acutely aware of not being able to work. Will probably need to end the work trial prematurely...

Unfortunately there isn't much else they can do than to give me sick leave. Meds don't help. Therapy hasn't done much difference (and it's expensive).

I know it’s hard, it took me over 40 years to even admit that I had issues. I know all to well, the perils and pitfalls of MH.
Nobody knows them all. Even different cases of depressing are different - sometimes even on the same people.
Add to that the strongly suspected, but officially undiagnosed ASD... (Nice to learn about that as middle aged...) Which nicely explains, amount other things, that I react strangely to many MH meds.

Thanks @Strixaluco
Look after yourself chickie xx
I will. I just need to get my stress level back down to a level I can manage (aka close to non-existent).

Good morning, afternoon or evening wherever you are. I got 8 houurs uninterrupted sleep! Thank you my old dog and sinuses! After reading a few post, I want you all who feel sad, anxious or otherwise not content, that you have friends. Which made me think of this song and need to share especially if I do not, it will stay in my head all day
