Growing up on a ranch and then in the army, cooking under the hood was a reality that was kind of convenient. Didn't always turn out the way you wanted to, but it did work well enough to give you something hot to eat.

Then of course, growing up in the age before AC was common in cars - there were more than a few car trips where everyone cooked!

Doctors wanted to keep her, but she refused, but wants to do outpatient. She has CHF and has to go back to the hospital Monday and to see our primary doc asap!
The heart attack was minor and she has to see a cardiologist on Monday at the hospital. They gave her some meds and a prescipt. She's stubborn as hell. She's nice and calm and I'm a wreck!

No. Congestive Heart Failure.
They wanted to keep her for a few days, but she refused.
We were at the hosp 9+ hours. She has to see a cardiologist on Monday at the hospital, they already did tests,tests,tests...we've known she has edema in her legs for some time now and she has a irregular heart beat. Now we know why!

They wanted to keep her a few days, but she's damn stubborn and refused. She has to return on Monday to see a cardiologist. She's got fluid in her left lung and edema in both legs, an irregular heart beat. She doesn't like being tested, and tests. They did an ECG and it was all over the place. O2 fluctuated between 88 and 95?
Me?? I'm going to be awake all night just watching her.
They her scripts for somethings and she's sleeping now
I need a drink or two or three. No, I'm not allowed.

I'm really sorry to hear she refused appropriate medical care. Please call medics on a hair trigger for her even if she says not to. Her life may depend on it
