One time I was at my brothers house and I saw an owl across the street, so I crept up to it, started taking pictures, whispering “not gonna hurt ya” like I was Steve Irwin or some shit. I told my bf about it when we got in the car and he said “princess, you are an idiot. That’s a plastic owl, meant to keep mice and squirrels away. It’s been there since like 1990.”

I have a couple plastic owls at my house too. They were there when I bought it, and I haven’t had any reason to remove them.

I rewatched all three of the last star wars movies with Ray and Ben…. they make no sense!!!! I sent people to kill you… I never wanted you dead… strike me down… no wait, I will kill you because I took all your power… if she had all this power, how could he take it? F-ing stupid!!!!

You’re not wrong. I’ve been a Star Wars fan my whole life—one of my earliest memories is doing an A New Hope sticker book—and I will never watch any of those three movies ever again. No coherent story whatsoever, and they didn’t fit or honor what came before at all. Complete garbage.

I think it might depend on how the knife is used.
Say a knife is put in the freezer. Then lightly drag it over one’s skin. Maybe while blindfolded. There’s no need to tell them. The back of the knife is being dragged over them.

I liked the new trilogy, especially The Force Awakens. But yeah if we are ranking the SW movies, the last two rank near the bottom with the first two prequel movies.

I watched “Devil In The Dark” from the original series of Star Trek last night… that might be my favorite Star Trek… pretty close. Although I thought the DS9 going back to the Trouble with Tribbles was pretty good.

Most of the classics we think of were from the first season of TOS... top-rate writers and minimal studio interference... and better budgets.
