The owl doesn’t look sleepy. He looks more like
HEY!!! What the hell are you looking at?!?! Don’t make me poop on your car

No cars in the middle of forest. The owl had obviously spotted the photographer much earlier, but deemed him harmless enough.

Ural owls can be mean af if they feel themselves or their chicks threatened. The don't stop to give warnings at that point - they go straight to attack, and they don't go for your car either - you better have a leather jacket and a helmet on you then!

I admit to stress eating. Tonight is pizza, a diet Dr. Pepper because I have not had one for awhile, popcorn and cocolate. None on my diet but I DO NOT CARE.

I’ve been having fun with tidal estuaries, if you catch the tides right you can ride the current inland, then ride it back out.

I’m hoping to get up to Puget Sound this summer, there are places you can get a real push

When I was growing up. Yeah centuries ago. I had a pet rabbit. He hung out under the bushes in the backyard. One evening I went out to feed him. I look up sitting on top of the telephone pole. Big owl just sitting looking around. Few nights later I’m outside again I look up saw something. I called my mom out. I tell her that is an owl. She did not believe me. Then it hooted and took off.
Keep in mind we lived in the middle of LA. Still we got wildlife from time to time

I told my bf about it when we got in the car and he said “princess, you are an idiot. That’s a plastic owl, meant to keep mice and squirrels away. It’s been there since like 1990.”

Our national soccer team is called "The Eagle owls", thanks to an actual Eagle owl that helped them win a game by visiting it. In the middle of our capital.

OP how are you doing with the weather? It’s chilly, windy, cloudy now. It was raining pretty good little while ago.

The sun came out so took a walk with dog around the neighborhood. We did not get far. Power pole is leaning way too far over. I am conerned its going to fall into the evegreens and bring down a big line. I will try post a pic if you want.

I suppose you can ask the power company to take care of it? They usually like to hear exactly where problems like that lie. Before the poles fall, if possible.

Its been crazy today. It was raining. Then hailed for a bit. Now its sunny so i should go clean the huge layer of junk in the pool from the winds yesterday before it rains again but Im attached to a work call for a while. At least it doesnt seem as windy as yesterday. I need a pool boy to do my work for me haha.
