9 inches would bring this place to a standstill. Even one inch of snow and noone will go out in it. Ridiculous . Tbh though, they suck at driving so it’s probably a good thing

Gosh, even the mention of snow, clears out stores where I am. Ridiculous. 9 inches would probably create true mass hysteria.

How much snow do you get in the winter?

Where I grew up we’d get several inches a few times each season. We’d usually have lambs to look after, stock to feed… where I am now we’re lucky if it settles

That used to be around here, but for good reason. Where I live if there was snow it was usually proceeded by freezing rain leaving a sheet of ice under it. Course now barely see snow here anymore at all.

Yup, ice (especially black ice) is much worse. I was in a three-car accident in upstate NY many years ago. When the State policemen showed up he skidded out, and the tow truck skidded out too. When I got out of my car, I slid on the ice and almost wiped out.
