Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Returned from the Glacier National Park extravaganza and the Park’s cabins are full!!! So we are going to rent an RV and spend time at the campground IF we can get reservations. We start reservation requests tomorrow! Right now, a Florida beach would be nice.

Sending those struggling today, hugs and care.
Glacier NP sounds a lot better to me. :)

So she’s right on your ass! Why can’t she just be 21 hours ahead of you?
Do our timezones have no bearing on how far or close we are to someone? Like wolfie is only an hour behind me and he’s geographically closer then you who is 3 hours (I think) behind me. So maybe I AM closer to NZ?
@cascadiabound HELLLLLP!!
Wolfie lives in the middle of the country - Wisconsin- so he is geographically between us.
AND he is in Central time zone...1 hour earlier than the East Coast and 2 hours later than the West Coast. Again... between.
edit: flight time from NYC is 17 hours. Flight time from Seattle is 16.5 hours.... essentially no meaningful distance in flight time.

And yes you are closer geographically to NZ than either me or Wolfie... but but such a small amount relatively (plane flights migh be similar length) it doesn't matter that much.
I WAS RIGHT ABOUT A TIME ZONE THING AND A GEOGRAPHY THING?!?!?! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

So am I physically closer to NZ then because I’m closer to her in time zones?
Well... no Azul is right.
From the west coast to travel to NZ we would travel farther west (and south).
From the East coast you would also have to travel west - but farther, since you have to also transit the American continent

I do not think you could possibly be physically closer to NZ then anyone on the west coast. NZ borders the Pacific Ocean. The US west coast, borders the pacific ocean. That must be closer than the east coast of the US.
This is right.I should have looked at a map first, not just thought about time zones.
But I am a little tipsy and a lot tired

Sooooorrrrrrrryyy

At least never ask a fat woman when she is due.
I’ve decided to start telling people I’m not fat I’m pregnant and that I’m 50 not 40. So then they will think I look great for my age! I don’t think I will tell them I’m 50 and pregnant though
"Things happen on a blind date you wouldn't believe. How would you like to go on a blind date, I mean, you meet the girl--and she's pregnant. What do you say to a girl who's pregnant, you know? 'What have you been doing lately??'" -- Rodney Dangerfield
