Finally my house is cleaned but I still have to grocery shop today , I just want to nap

I should do a round in Ikea tomorrow trying two figure out if I can just order instead. It's not far - I could even take the local bus as I'm not buying anything huge - but you know what's the real issue in going there... Especially since not having gone for years, and needing ideas for small stuff!

Yeppp...same with me..I usually make a list so that I dont end up buying something just cause it was cute and I couldn't resist it ,and forget what I came for in the first place

Except that's the thing. Ikea is renown for avoiding taxes. Also the production is spread internationally. It might be founded in Sweden, otherwise it's not really Swedish in my mind.

I'd actually rather go elsewhere, but some stuff is rather... arduous to find if you want to avoid Ikea.

Well... Those almost vanished here some 40 years ago. Too costly nowadays. Nowadays all that's really there is just hired cleaners, weekly or whatever you decide.

True...they are more demanding than your partners and spouses...
You cannot be rude to them , or else they will leave you hanging...
The effort it requires to keep them happy and motivated to come everyday, you would feel like you are at their mercy and need them more than anyone else You should see the folks in my country.They grovel at the feet of their househelps ,bcoz they know they can't afford to lose them or their whole world would be in chaos

The cleaners vary. In the cities those companies that don't cost outrageously tend to have very varying personnel. The good ones often find a better job elsewhere - in the countryside they are more constant, as there are not as many jobs available.

Well that's informative...and you are right...it depends on the country and city...In my country ,it's readily available and yet ,everyone is scared to lose the house help bcoz they can't manage on their own ,owing to their busy schedules. it's amazing how one thing can have it's worth vary from privilege to readily available.

For the me the fast version of ibuprofen (400mg) has always helped if taken very early. Now that it didn't this week, and the combo was 600mg + paracetamol 1000mg as with ischias pain or a lost tooth, I've made sure to have that combo in my handbag in the future. I have a hunch I will see more migraine in the coming weeks.
